Team Leader at the Swedish Migration Agency

At the Swedish Migration Agency, we are working on one of the major societal issues of our time – migration. We are a total of about 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job!

Your Workplace

The Reception and Return Center is under significant development.

You will work with issues that concern and engage in a dynamic environment characterized by meeting people and influenced by what is happening in our surroundings. It is also an environment characterized by continuous learning and participation, where we, through co-location, have better conditions to work closely together among the professions in the protection process. We are also close to the applicant by working where they live. This allows us to work more effectively and make it safer for the applicant.

It is an international environment, both because Malmö is an entry and exit point with proximity to Kastrup, but also because the authority will become more integrated into a common European asylum reception and EU authorities such as Frontex and EUAA next year. When you work in the center, you become part of the journey towards a new and reformed asylum reception. Feel free to listen to our employees who talk about their work at the Reception and Return Center at the agency: Reception and Return Center (https://migrationsverket.varbi.com/center/tool/position/872212/edit/tab:2/Mottagnings-och-atervandandecenter)

As a team leader, you contribute to ensuring that the unit has good conditions in terms of a developing work environment, the right competence, reasonable workload, clear goals, and good planning.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who leads and motivates others to achieve common goals. You coordinate groups, create engagement and participation. You have good collaboration skills, are attentive, and resolve conflicts constructively.
